But, as Ana Smith puts it, \u201cSpeed without clarity equals chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n For Shenoa Simpson, an AI and digital innovation leader and PRO VOICE member, velocity is about balance. \u201cThe key is 40% speed and 60% slowing down and thinking about it,\u201d she says. \u201cYou have to clean up your data. You have to understand what your data is. You have to have a really responsible framework, and you have to have some ethics and some governance.\u201d<\/p>\n Of course, speed always comes with a price.<\/p>\n \u201cSpeed should not be the solution,\u201d says John Hoffman.<\/strong> “Everybody wants it faster and faster and faster, and everyone thinks AI is going to make it faster and faster, which it will in a lot of areas…but where you’re trying to connect emotionally, you’ve got to make sure that the speed does not leave out the human.”<\/p>\n Still, that doesn\u2019t mean progress should stall. Leaders must learn to balance momentum with mindfulness. True velocity is sustainable, not frantic.
